MOVING FORWARD - A Message From The President
“Without change, there is no innovation, creativity or incentive for improvement. Those who initiate change will have a better opportunity to manage the change that is inevitable.”
Cliché as it may sound, “Change is the only thing constant in this world” and HMI, with its long-standing years of existence can very much attest to that. Change is unavoidable but definitely a must if we want to achieve progression and success. In its 33rd year, Health Maintenance, Inc. (HMI) faced one of its most anticipated and most remarkable change in history – moving on to its new home - the HMI Corporate Center.
In 2013, HMI moved to its new office building at 1152 Chino Roces Ave, Barangay San Antonio, Makati City from its long-time location at the Makati Cinema Square Tower.
The HMI Corporate center was planned and designed from scratch ensuring that the infrastructure is sufficient for the company’s future needs making it certain that there will be enough space, voice and data lines, sufficient electrical and security camera lines, and a full generator back-up. The new building features an area for state of the art data center, areas for the new medical equipment, rooms for Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy, recreation areas and prayer room. Substantial upgrades are currently being made to HMI's IT infrastructure. All of these upgrades and features will provide better facilities and services to HMI’s clients and staff.
HMI’s move to the new building is part of the company’s commitment to continuously improve its services and to better support the growing number of HMI members. It addressed the company’s challenge of “space squeeze” in its current office that accompanied HMI’s continued growth and progress. The management believes that the move to this new home is a sign of HMI’s consistent development over the last few years and of fulfilling its objective to build support and deliver the best quality healthcare services to the Philippine public.
